Clay shooting is a kind of a different activity but I want to mix it up and let us try some new things, even if they may seem a lil out there. Here we can go to the outskirts of OC and San Bernardino in Chino Hills at Prado which has an Olympic range. We'll be doing trap shooting where there is a middle bunker that launches flying clay discs that we'll attempt to hit using shotguns loaded with lots of little pellets that should increase our odds!

So for anyone who hasn't shot a gun before this is your chance, just bring your drivers license or ID (or passport) to rent firearms and stuff, and not be like a felon or a have a court designated mental disorder. The liability wavers will have more info and ask about it.

These are basically the rules, which if you have trouble remembering is okay as we will have a couple people who will have done it before who will keep an eye out and remind y'all to maximize safety as always (me and a couple instructors and anyone whose shot a gun before)

1. Always keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction (if its rude to point with a finger, its definitely rude with a gun)
2. Treat all firearms as if they are loaded (so we don't get careless)
3. Keep your finger outside of the trigger guard and off the trigger until you are ready to fire (can't have a misfire if we don't pull a trigger)
4. Be certain of your target and what is behind it (as bullets go through more than you think and can ricochet)
5. Always wear ear and eye protection just in case (as an additional layer of protection and guns are quite loud so earplugs are a must!)

If I remember, please bring cash to make splitting costs easier but the costs last time I stopped by were like 9 dollars for 25 of the flying clays, about 20 bucksish for a gun rental (12 gauge Beretta A300 Outlander), and a box of ammunition being about 35 dollars combined. Also heads up but this is outside so maybe put on some sunblock.
