**HIKE DESCRIPTION:**
We will be hiking into an area called the Scaur (another spelling of Scar?). This is a relatively easy hike with some interesting geological features and viewpoints. The trail starts close to Waterville Valley and is about one hour north of Concord. We will be able to see the Waterville Valley Ski Area as well as the Tripyramids and other mountain peaks at points along the way.

**HIKE DETAILS:**
**Distance:** about 5 miles R/T
**Elevation gain**: about 1000 feet
**Duration:** approximately 3 - 4 hours.

**NO DOGS ON THIS HIKE. THERE ARE OTHER GROUPS AND EVENTS THAT ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR HIKERS WITH DOGS.**

**NO GUESTS - ALL GUESTS MUST BE REGISTERED MEMBERS OF 4 SEASONS HIKING MEETUP.**
