Join me on a walk around one of London's prettiest (in some parts) and quirkiest areas.

The title of this walk refers to the Baker Street Irregulars, Sherlock Holmes' trusted urchin spies who pop up in some of his stories.

There was another group known as the Baker Street Irregulars which ill tell you about on the walk and there are a number of irregular/unlikely characters on this particular walk, such as Malcolm MClaren, HG Wells and Dusty Springfield.

Beginning at a major London store we venture to see a couple of classic squares, an ex-Beatles store, the origninal HQ of the SOE, one of this country's most secretive of secret services, the site of London's first women's detective school, a hotel that never became a hotel, the site of a notorious bank robbery and ....welll....it is Baker street so, of course, there's a mention of two about a famous fictional detective.
