What we’re about

Don't have a Plus One? That's ok! This is 50 + FUN! This is a group for social, fun-loving 50-somethings who want to explore the best events, outdoor activities, excursions and stuff to do in the greater Worcester area and beyond. Activities may include live music, dancing, trivia, music bingo, walks/hiking, dining out, pickle ball, game nights, fairs and festivals, beach excursions, museums, theatre, etc. If it sounds like fun, let's go!

Group Rules & Expectations:

  • Be kind, courteous, and have fun!
  • Members must be a minimum of 50 years old to join
  • If you sign up for an event and you can't make it, please change your RSVP to 'Not Attending'. A timely cancellation, several days ahead, will allow members on the waitlist to join. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the event) make it difficult for others to join. Please be especially mindful of events with long waitlists.
  • Cancellations made within 6 hours of an event are considered "no shows"
  • Members who have been marked 'no show ' on two occasions may be removed from the group.
  • For safety reasons, it is required that you include your name and a current, recognizable photo of your face for your profile picture. Members without a name and/or photo may be denied membership and/or removed from the group.
  • Please arrive at events on time. (The host is not responsible for looking for you if you are not at the designated location at the designated time.)
  • Certain types of events require a ticket purchase directly from the vendor. As a general guideline for these events, the attendance limit will be set to 1 (event host only). All members will be placed on the waitlist. Once the member confirms their ticket purchase with the host, they will be moved to the "Going" list.
  • This group adheres to current Massachusetts State Covid-19 recommendations for vaccination and masking.

A Note About Attendance Limits:
Attendance numbers for each event are set by its Event Organizer. We try our best to accommodate as many people as possible while retaining a comfortable and social atmosphere. We take into consideration the size of the venue, covid and safety guidelines, and what we ourselves feel comfortable and capable of managing. Our goal is to make each event fun for all who attend!
