We will spend the first 5 nights at Trillium House, a beautifully restored 5 bedroom heritage farmhouse circa 1811. https://www.vrbo.com/en-ca/cottage-rental/p1033651vb

The plan is to have rides of +/-30 miles and 50 miles each day to accommodate both those who like to take in the scenery as well as those like rolling at a faster pace. Thursday we will do a ride on on our way to Cornwall, Ontario where we will stay one night at the Cardinal Inn. https://www.cardinalinn.ca/ Friday we will cycle along the St. Lawrence river. Our route will include the Long Sault Parkway. These islands sweep in an arc-like a necklace of green jewels and are the former hilltops of the Lost Villages, which were flooded to allow the Power Dam Project in 1958.

While at Trillium House can go out for dinners or we can prepare shared meals which we have done in the past with other trips like this. For shared meal we set up teams, with each team responsible to source ingredients and prepare an appetizer, main meal and dessert one night. Thursday night we could use the kitchen at Cardinal Inn or eat out since it will be our last evening together.

Both accommodations are limited to 10 guests. Trillium House can include 2 single occupancy rooms if you are willing to take the daybed in a private room or a double bed in a bedroom off the kitchen. The 4 other rooms have queen beds.

There are also cottages and RV parks very close by if you prefer. Let me know and I can send you some links. If you choose to stay at a cottage or RV park you would still be welcome to join us for meals.

Cost for 6 nights accommodation will be US$250 per person sharing a room or $325 if you prefer one of the two single rooms at Trillium House. By signing up now you are not committing to the event but we can answer your questions and you will see all updates and comments. In November we will repost and will require a deposit of $100 per person for those who want to go in order to reserve the accommodations. The balance will be due early April. If anyone needs to cancel we will help you find a replacement who would compensate you for any money you had paid.
