Hello and welcome to “55+ Singles Houston – Lake Conroe Get-togethers.” Most of the get-togethers will be in The Woodlands and Lake Conroe area. The goal of this group is as the name suggest for meeting new people for active fun get-togethers, events, movies, theater, concerts, happy hours, wine events, brewery’s, coffee, dining, picnics, parks, walks, dancing venues in The Woodlands, Conroe and Lake Conroe areas. You must be 55 years old or older to join this group. You should sign up for the event. If you are signed up for an event and will not be able to attend, please shift your status to "not going". Many of our events have waitlists so shifting your status to not going will allow others to attend. Do join so if a near spontaneous get-together is about to happen you can be on the email list. We want all of our members to feel welcome and have a good time.
NO SHOW POLICY- For those signed up for events, it is important to monitor and update your RSVP to not attending when your plans change. Indoor and outdoor events are treated differently. Indoor events have stricter rules because there are usually space restrictions. You should update your RSVP for indoor events at least twenty-four hours before the event. That way members on the waitlist will have sufficient time to adjust their schedules and your hosts will be able to coordinate with the venue. You will be allowed up to three no-shows for indoor events and will be marked as a no-show for those events. After three no-shows, you may be moved to the waitlist for future indoor events for a year.
Since outdoor venues can be much more flexible, please adhere to a twelve hour advance notice of changing your RSVP to not attending.
