Details
Alexandria was founded in 1749 by Scottish merchants and was named after Scotsman John Alexander who owned the land that became Alexandria. The city celebrates its heritage with the annual Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk Parade, this year on Saturday, December 7, 2024 starting at 11:00 a.m.

We will meet at the Northeast corner of Queen Street and Saint Asaph Street (525 Queen Street), where we should have a good view of the parade as it comes up Saint Asaph Street.
I am bringing a folding chair on which to watch the parade.
Optional lunch and time to chat at Caphe Banh Mi restaurant, 407 Cameron Street after the parade.
