What we’re about
Aloha! This is a diverse, active, group for anyone who is interested in meeting new people and having a good time. We organize happy hours, hikes, volunteer events, plopping on the beach afternoons, movie nights and more. Suggestions for events are always welcome!! We are an inclusive, always kind, political and drama free group (well most of the time anyway). Everyone is welcome and we look forward to meeting you!
Considering joining us, please take a moment to read our group updates and policies. They are located on our message board. If you want to be a member, we want you in our ohana.

Volunteer Roles Available:
Running Orders - Clients show up to the warehouse with order numbers. Runners help to locate the client's orders on the warehouse shelves.
Shopping - volunteers will help fulfill client orders.
Pre-loading - Every order receives a set of daily specials, which are made up of vegetables, bread, eggs, etc... We strive to ensure that the client's nutritional needs are taken care of. Pre-loaders help to make sure that the runners already have at least one set of specials ready to share with incoming clients.
Loading - Loaders are responsible for handing over the completed orders. Hand-offs may be in person, or loading clients' cars.
Training will be provided, but you'll catch on quick.
Please wear comfortable clothing, shoes and face mask.

- 3rd Saturday morning coffee, walk & talk in WaikīkīQueen Kapiolani Hotel, Honolulu, HI
This is a coffee meetup at Knots Coffee (150 Kapahulu, in the Queen Kapiolani Hotel), followed by a walk around Kapiolani Park starting at Art on the Zoo Fence (2760 Monsarrat). Come for the whole thing or join part way. There are free parking lots on Monsarrat and Paki Avenues. There is also free and metered street parking all around the park.
The coffee meetup starts at 9am. Knots Coffee (knotscoffee.com) is a large open-air coffee cafe overlooking Kapahulu.
At 10am we'll walk (5 minutes) to Art On The Zoo Fence (artonthezoofencehi.com). There's less art than there used to be, but it's still fun to see who shows up with what.
At 10:15-ish, we'll begin a walk through Kapiʻolani Park, past the duck pond and the Kapiolani Bandstand (honolulu.gov) to the Louise Dillingham Memorial Fountain (honolulu.gov), returning along the Paki side, crossing behind the Waikīkī Shell and back to Art on the Zoo Fence. The walk is about 2 miles and should take 45-ish minutes at a modest pace, ending around 11am.
- Mirovolunteering: Electric Beach Clean UpKahe Point Beach Park, Kapolei, HI
Let’s clean up a west-side beach - keeping trash out of the ocean is important for sea life, our planet and us!
Have you ever been to Electric Beach? Please consider joining me at this event, where we'll meet new people, help make the beach better than we found it, and enjoy the sunset as a reward! The cleanup will be for an hour, but of course, stay as long as you want. This is part of an organized group called, "3rd Sunday Beach Cleanup"
Since 2018, the team has been organizing beach clean-ups and connecting over 300 volunteers to the environment. This year 3rd Sunday Beach Cleanup will be hosting quarterly events, alternating from evenings & mornings.
They bring gloves, buckets and other tools, but if you can, please bring your own water, gloves and a garbage bag.
Please wear shoes (there's glass and kiawe - thorns) and bring water.
Meet in the parking lot, and look for the group with all the buckets!
If you're driving, park in the lot. If you're taking the bus, #40 has a stop, right across the street from the parking lot.
we'll see you at the beach.
🅿️
Parking is tight in the morning, due to scuba divers & snorkeling; so consider car-pooling.🚌
