What we’re about
Musical virtual campfire session. Bring your acoustic guitar or other acoustic stringed instrument and a couple songs to perform. The combination of the human voice and steel strings creates something collectively magical.
This is not about solo performances. We all want to be able to join in on the chorus.
We want everyone to be a part of the sound and build on the jangling wall of guitars and create beautiful vocal melodies and harmonies.
Not very musically proficient? No problem! If you can keep a beat, bring your own shake eggs, bongos or any other percussion stuff.
You know, when you make sound with someone else, oxytocin, the trust hormone is released. This is a very powerful hormone that’s often associated with acts of love, but sounding together with someone else also releases it.
WHEN: Shooting for one Saturday per month at sundown.
WHERE: Varies. Scouting for locations indoor and out. These will be kept secret and only revealed to members Norther Ireland weather being what it is we may be indoors more than out.. but we will try to involve fire somehow.
WHO: Open minded Musicians and music lovers who get a buzz out of Group participation! Anyone who would like to hang with in the relaxing glow of a campfire or indoor stove while singing, playing or enjoying acoustic music.
