"I haven't played that since middle school" is probably said most often with the sports Backyard Sports Club provides to the Hampton Roads area. Meet new friend and singles in the area playing we used to play as kids and have a drink at the sponsored bar after a game. This league is built on being social and fun with a new twist to the old past time sport of picnic outings and elementary school field day. Outside of league play, Backyard Sports Club organizes charity tournaments, Bowling, Night, Race Night, and other events. Join the league, join the fun!

Cornhole is a very easy game to learn and you can go from a beginner to an expert very quickly! It’s a very unique game in which everyone can play no matter their age, gender or athletic ability. Our goal is to create a friendly atmosphere where it’s easy for people to meet and have some fun!
This league was created to give people a chance to try something new while meeting new people and having a great time doing it! Our games are on Tuesday nights starting from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. After the games we enjoy dinner and drink specials at our sponsor bars. Registration is $40 for the season but it will go up to $50 after December 1st. The registration includes the following:
- Awesome T-Shirts
- 6-7 weeks of game play including a final tournament.
- Invitation to End of Season Party
- All Equipment Provided
- Social Hosts and Refs
- Tomfoolery and Bar Specials

Backyard Sports Club is having a bowling league this spring season! Games will be played on Wednesday nights at AMF Indian River Lanes in Virginia Beach. I know you're asking what makes us great!
• We are a co-ed social league. If you are new to the area and willing to meet people in a social environment. This is perfect for you.
• AMF bar with great food and drink specials just for the league.
• Your very own Backyard Sports Club t-shirt and shoe rental is free each week.
• 8 weeks of games.
• End of the season tournament. Every team gets invited to play.

Backyard Sports Club will be having their first draft kickball league on Sunday, January 12th at Old Dominion University. Every player will sign up as a free agent and be placed together in a pool. After registration expires, a group of appointed captains will take turns a drafting player to their teams until every player has been selected. This will happen during a Draft Party at Afterglow Brewery in Norfolk. The goal of this type of league is to meet new people and play with players you wouldn't normally play with. By dividing players based on skill, we are able to keep teams competitively equal which makes for fun and exciting kickball. For those you can't make it, the draft will be viewed live via Facebook Live and you'll see when each player being picked through Google. This event is a great way to meet and play with new people! This draft league will even out the teams and level out the competition.
