Hello, and thank you for joining. I'm Jake, just an ESL teacher with a little extra free time these days. I have so much respect and admiration for all of you out there trying to improve your English, both overseas and here in the U.S.A. I'm just here to try to help you with your English goals, and hopefully to make your life a little easier.
Let me also say that despite the name of the club, I encourage people to join and participate from anywhere in the world, especially right now, as all of our meetings are virtual (via Zoom).
In my real life, I am an ESL teacher here in the Washington DC area. I have been teaching for almost 20 years now, so hopefully I will be able to help you with whatever you need
I hope you will join us for a free conversation club one of these days- we have them every other Thursday evening. Remember to check out the events section, as I will occasionally offer some activities as well.
Lastly, if you or someone you know is looking for real, one-on-one English language coaching, my website is called accomplishenglish.com- check it out some time! Basically though, I charge $55 an hour- adjustable if need be. Just ask me if you would like to learn more!
