What we’re about
This is a book club for women who like to get together and discuss what they read, who are looking to make new friends, or who just need an escape from their weekly routine! This group is all about the enjoyment of reading. There no pressure to read ALL of the books. If life gets too busy and you simply don't get the chance to read it, then you can still come for the conversation. Every member influences the book choices by participating in a poll and making suggestions. The conversation is fun and open- minded. We will strive to choose a meetup that goes along with each book, for example, if we were to read a book set in Italy, then we could go to a wine tasting or eat at an Italian restaurant. These places are also chosen by the group and this is a great way to get us out of the house and doing something different! The rules: Everyone must be respectful towards one another and value differing viewpoints. Everyone's goal should be to have fun. Our goal is to laugh, share wisdom, make wonderful friends, have a few drinks, explore the Miami area, and generally have a good time!
