Colorado Springs Cycling Club

Saturday Resort Rides are year-round road rides sponsored by the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort. They are open to the community. The rides are an included official ride of the Colorado Springs Cycling Club, First ride is free then go to bikesprings.org for more information and to join.

We typically ride for two-ish hours about 16-24 miles at an intermediate pace with options for faster riders to challenge each other. We are a no drop ride and have an appointed sweep or last rider to make sure we keep together and in case of any mechanical issues.

Many of our rides include the Garden of the Gods (in our backyard) and other destinations including the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Gold Camp Road and 7 Falls, Manitou Springs, Flying W Ranch Road & Blodgett Peak. We also make lots of use of the Midland Trail, Greenway Trail, Sinton Trail and Foothill Trails. On the first Saturday’s of each month we ride to Glen Eyrie Castle by special permission.

Please come ready to ride, with tires aired, helmet (a must) and water.

Sign in begins at 9:45 a.m. and we roll out at 10:00 a.m. You must sign the club waiver each time you ride.

Please park at the back of property and NOT in front of the Lodge or Guest Rooms.

We usually enjoy hanging out and having a drink (alcohol and non-alcoholic) after the rides at the Buffalo Lodge Watering Hole.

Tour de Latte is a casual ride stopping at different independent coffee houses.

The Tour de Latte is designed as a casual social ride around Colorado Springs on Saturday mornings, each week stopping at a different independent coffee house. It is always a no drop, led social ride, with posting at corners and sweeps designated. During the off-season (October-April), the Latte Ride distance will vary depending on weather and ride participants, but the speed will always be casual (8-10 mph average). If you are interested in riding, please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Since it is off-season, I may not always be available to ride. I will post in the comments if I am going, so watch for that. If I am not riding, but you wish to, please download and print a sign-in sheet to have everyone sign before the ride. You can mail or email the sign-in sheet to the address on the form.

• Bring your own food, water, spare tube, tire repair kit, etc. .
• Helmets are to be worn whenever you are riding the bike.
