What we’re about
Our group meets at various restaurants in the Thousand Oaks area, where we have a meal together and speak German! Many in our group are native Germans who now call the U.S. home. Other members are people who have a connection to Germany, either through family or having lived there, and learned the language. I frequently get questions from German learners about whether they can join our group. All fluency levels are welcome at our Meetups, however you'll get the most out of our group if you are either able to speak some German, or are keen at learning. We're a welcoming and fun-loving bunch, so whether you are fluent or learning, don't feel shy. Come and join us for an evening of German conversation!
