[*online registration saves $5 from Admission at the Door], >>>How are OUR Meetings Different from the Others?<<< Well, glad you asked. I have attended many Real Estate groups in the DFW area. These are all unique to DFW REI Club: --->LUNCH IS PROVIDED!! (Courtesy of iDeal Floors) That's a really cool REGULAR feature with our group I have yet to find in other groups, and there's NO extra charge! --->NEXT, since we are WEEKLY, you can really get to know the others who attend regularly. We find that building relationships really can increase the chances of your success especially if you are new in the RE Investing business. --->PLUS, we provide a table where you can sit, relax, take notes, and network (before & after!) with the folks you sit accross from and next to. BACKGROUND - HISTORY This DFWREI Club had it's beginnings in the early 2000's and started as an informal lunch and networking, training group focused on investor issues. Originally cleverly dubbed as "Nuby's at Luby's" because the meeting place was a Nuby's restaurant on University near the 7th st/Camp Bowie intersection in Fort Worth. This group's 'founder', our beloved mentor B.D. Adkins, was a Fort Worth investor for ?years (lots), who had a vision of helping people who had a desire to get into the lucrative but challenging Real Estate Investing business. As his retirement loomed close, we were sad to hear that the Luby's location was being closed without warning. So, with that, BD bowed out leaving the group's future in the hands of his 'mentee' Robin Carriger, who is still heading up the group.
