What we’re about
Inland Empire Escapades (IEE) group is all about providing people in Spokane with a fun and easy way to meet new people and have a good time doing so. Our vision as organizers is to bring awesome people together.
Whether you are new to the area and would like to get to know the local scene and make great friends along the way, or if you have been here your entire life and are down for an escapade and good adventure, this group is for you.
We love our organizers to throw events when they are able and comfortable and are always looking for new people to organize – even if it is just once a month! (Contact Sandra if you desire to be an event organizer). For all other members please know we are always open to ideas or any place you think we should visit, or if you have a suggestion to help make the group better, please speak up. Our leadership team wants this group to be fun and awesome so we welcome all feedback.
Remember our group is only as good as the people in it, and we want happy people in this amazing group.
There are only two rules –
1- always be respectful to other members in this group. Any misconduct to other members of this group will be cause for immediate removal. We promote positive energy and emotional intelligence so be nice, being kind goes a long way!
2- The other thing we ask is that when you RSVP to an event you plan on attending and only change your RSVP if your plans change, and with enough notice so others can join the event. Event organizers spend a lot of time and effort coordinating events, so please be respectful of them by showing up. If you have to change your RSVP do it in a timely manner try to avoid last-minute changes. We do understand life can be crazy and hectic so please reach out to the event organizer if something comes up and you are unable to attend. If you no-show, or cancel last minute without contacting the event organizer, you will be removed. That is out of respect to the event organizers and the venues we choose to go to. It is rude and unacceptable to say we have a certain amount of people coming, only to show up with a handful.
IEE is a social (not dating) group intended for people who want to get out and meet people and have fun - single or otherwise. We recognize dating is an important concern for many of our single members and we encourage those members to join some singles meet up groups. The primary intention of this group is simply to make good friends and enjoy each other’s company while having an awesome fun time regardless of relationship status. Please remember to be respectful of the fact that not everyone in our group is single and looking to date. People who use this group like a dating site will be removed.
Last but not least, we expect members to always be welcoming of new members and all members - no exceptions. We don’t need drama or negativity and it will not be tolerated!! Fun escapades only!
