1 & 2 Samuel chronicle the exciting history of God's people from the end of the period of the Judges (Samuel was the last judge) and into the age of the united kingdom monarchy. It is a fast-paced story highlighting the victory of faithfulness to God, but with constant reminders of the futility and destructive nature of self-exaltation woven throughout.
In our study we'll meet great women of faith and wisdom like Hannah and Abigail, mighty warriors such as Abner, Joab, and Uriah, honourable and trustworthy friends like Jonathan, corrupt minds such as Doeg and Nabal, courageous men of God like Samuel and Nathan, and much more.
You're invited to join us each Tuesday evening at 8 pm via Google Meet as we study the books of Samuel and seek lessons to improve our faith and service before God in this present age.
