What we’re about
This group is about meeting people, making new friends and improving your social life. Events are put on by members, so it should appeal to all people of all age groups and backgrounds, couples as well as singles.
There is an annual £5 membership fee (to help pay for the cost of the website), but after that there are no other costs. There is no extra charge to come to an event.
You do not have to go to an event, but if you do not go to a meetup for a year or visit the site for several months, you will be considered an inactive member and removed from the site. In that case, you are very welcome to rejoin the group if you wish to (re-)start taking part in meetups.
We do not insist you add a photo to your profile, but it will help us recognise you when you come to a meetup, so a clear photo showing your face is to your advantage.
