This group is for outdoor enthusiasts interested in hiking, road and mountain biking, horseback riding, paddling/kayaking, or just sauntering about on trails and pathways in Lake County, CA.
Meetup outings with this group are frequently organized by other entities that lead hikes in Lake County. Therefore, contacts and links to those entities will be provided in the Meetup event. Some of those groups include the Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association, Sierra Club Lake Group, Friends of Boggs Mountain, Lake County Land Trust, and Tuleyome.
Konocti Regional Trails (KRT) are a series of rural connections offering paddling, hiking, horse and bike riding opportunities between communities and major recreational areas in Lake County. The KRT's mission is to 1) Highlight the region’s outstanding scenic beauty, diverse wildlife, natural landscapes, and cultural history; 2) Enhance the visitor experience by providing an opportunity for recreation and appreciation of these unique assets; and 3) Promote community health and economic vitality throughout the region.
