WELCOME TO WHERE ADVENTURE IS PART OF OUR NAME!
We are a group of adventurers who love the outdoors, especially kayaking, bike riding, and walking. It is for paddlers, bike riders and walkers with at least some experience and the physical abilities and equipment required to do outdoor activities. (Many events are not suitable for children or beginners). Meeting new people and making new friends along the way makes it even better! Sometimes social events like lunches or a night out are included in our meetups. If you want to go on an adventure please RSVP "yes" but if you can't make it please change your RSVP to "no" so somebody on the wait list can go.
All the hosts are volunteers and most of the trips are free, unless we have to pay a vendor or outfitter. We gratefully accept donations (average $5 per year) to help pay our website bill, but we are not a business and not for profit. Donations are accepted by the main organizer (Mark Brown)
Inactive members are dropped from the group after one year so make sure you at least check the website from time to time. Any member can host a trip provided they are experienced with our group and knowledgeable about the trip they are considering. All adventures must be proof-read by the Main Organizer before being posted or announced.
This is a fun group, and our members are very diverse. We are open to all walks of life and avoid controversial topics or criticizing another person's beliefs or background. If anyone asks for a topic to be dropped or not started (especially religion and politics), drop it immediately! Failure to do so, and blatant acts of bigotry, intolerance or sexual harassment will result in you being removed from the group.

When you RSVP yes to attend an event, or participate in the group, you and your guests expressly waive any and all such claims against each and every other member in the group, including without limitation any and all claims against the group organizer or assistant organizers or event hosts.
