What we’re about
What is this place?
MakeICT is Wichita’s nonprofit makerspace. We are owned and operated by member-volunteers.
What’s a makerspace?
Makerspaces are open community labs incorporating elements of machine shops, workshops, studios, tools, equipment, knowledge, and people. It’s where makers can come together to share resources to make and create. It’s sorta like a YMCA, except instead of workout equipment, we have 3d printers, a woodshop, and many, many other things.
When are you open?
Members can apply for a key which grants them 24/7 access. Nonmembers are welcome to join us for one of our free or lowcost workshops or an open hack night, every 2nd and 4th Monday from 7-9pm. See http://makeict.org/calendar for a full list of events.
