What we’re about
This group is for women who want to explore the many outdoor opportunities available in southern New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts. Activities include walking, hiking, biking, kayaking and bird watching plus snowshoeing and cross country skiing. We’ll take time to appreciate beautiful scenery, look for signs of wildlife, take photos, and share our knowledge, or curiosity, about the natural world.
Women of all ages, sizes, orientations and fitness levels are welcome to join us. Activities will involve varying levels of physical challenge; with some easy and some more strenuous. We’ll share any challenges in a supportive atmosphere among new friends.
Event organizers are volunteers who have agreed to share their love of an activity or area with us. If your plans change and you cannot attend an event that you signed up for please update your RSVP as soon as possible so that the organizer is aware of the change. If you are a "no show" for an event you will be removed from the group.
There is no charge to become a member or to participate in an event. Participants should expect to cover costs associated with events such as entrance fees and transportation costs. Please consider car-pooling to events when possible.
Dogs will be welcome at some events and not at others. Check the event posting or with the event organizer. Please be prepared to clean up after your dog.
Please let us know if you have an idea for an event or if you would like to become an event organizer.
