Open Eugene (formerly EugeneTech)

The Eugene Makerspace Community is having a pop-up event at the Nexus Business Lounge, right in downtown Eugene. We'll be giving demos all day on how to make your own models for 3D printing. And, depending on the size, we may be able to print it out for you to take home! Or, do your own thing and make progress on your current project. Expect a spread of art, electronics, DIY and making stuff just for the fun of it. We can provide power, work space, wifi and the know-how to help make it happen. Join us from 1pm to 5pm, see you there!

Note: This is a weekly networking event that happens every week, rain or shine. Sometimes attendance is light and sometimes we spill out into the street - the more the merrier!

Join the @OpenEugene community every Tuesday and support downtown businesses by having a drink at The Barn Light. Food is available at the bar, next door at Slice, around the corner at Killer Burger, or at any of the nearby downtown restaurants.

This group is come-as-you-are and drop in / drop out any time you feel like it. Don't bring a resume - but if you make a friend we encourage networking.

To support Downtown businesses (TBL) we will be following any restrictions they choose to place on masks and gatherings, in addition to any restrictions still in place for the State or County. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home and hang out with us a different week.

The Eugene Makerspace community meets up at Play Eugene each week, to share drinks, snacks, plans and visions for the future of EMS. Bring a project (its a bar, adjust expectations accordingly) or just come along to meet people and have a chat.

This event replaces our standing Tuesday public access event we used to hold at the makerspace on McKinley St. Sadly, we suffered a fire in September and this is one of a series of events we'll hold to try to sustain and grow our community while we work through the ramifications of that, and begin to look for a new home.

We'll place a sign on the table - typically near the front depending on how busy it it. Hope to see you there.
