Our Panel:
Bobby was a former CEO of a global engineering services organisation in the UK and has been a part of the management of several global corporations in his career spanning 30 years. He is a trustee of Empowering Lives Foundation (a UK-based charity). Born in Kerala in a strictly Catholic family, Bobby graduated in engineering from Kerala University, India. Currently, he teaches Raj Yoga meditation at the Cambridge and Global Retreat Centres, while also being part of the Brixton Inner Space outreach team.
Egils Gudermanis Born in Latvia, Egils Gudermanis began his studies in Raja Yoga Meditation with The Brahma Kumaris in Tasmania in 1991. Since 2006, he has been a dedicated member of The Brahma Kumaris Lighthouse Retreat Centre in Worthing, UK, where he assists in various activities, including cooking and baking for guests. Egils nurtures his spirituality through daily swims in both the English Channel and the ocean of spiritual knowledge, embracing the practice all year round.
Lernor Findlay works as a support worker with learning disabled individuals and is a retired social worker. He has been studying and practising Raja Yoga for over 20 years with the Brahma Kumaris. He attends the South London centre and participates in the activities of the Croydon online and outreach sections of the Brahma Kumaris. Among his interests are finding practical and creative approaches to enhance relationships utilising positive/spiritual principles.
John McConnel is a stress management trainer and former prison governor and social worker. He has been studying and teaching Raja Yoga meditation with the Brahma Kumaris for over 30 years. He has a strong interest in the practical application of spiritual principles and insights in daily life. He is the author of 'Breaking Through The Darkness: how to defeat depression, anxiety and stress - a spiritual perspective’.
Matthew Earl, a graduate in Genetics and former "spiritual sceptic," discovered meditation on his personal growth journey. Over the past 20 years, he has guided students globally through courses, workshops, and retreats. Most recently, he served as Head of Business Growth in London and uses his diverse experience to translate Raja Yoga Meditation into practical, everyday tools for a wide audience.
