Hello South OC soccer players.
The purpose of this group is organize skilled pickup soccer games in South Orange County. All new members should have high intermediate or better soccer skills so that we can play fast paced, high quality pickup games. We aren't overly serious about the final score though. Just a good soccer atmosphere with friendly people who love the game.
Most of our games are full field games but we occasionally play with small field goals depending on turnout and field availability. We strongly discourage overly rough play and slide tackling. However, injuries are an inherent risk of playing soccer. By joining this meetup.com group and choosing to attend these informal pickup games, you are agreeing to assume the risk of injuries that may occur during your participation and hereby release from liability anyone who helps organize these informal, pickup games. Your request to join the group and your RSVP to any event is your agreement to this assumption of risk and release of liability.
Membership in the group is $15 per year. Member fees are used to help pay organizer meetup.com costs, buy new and replacement gear, and for miscellaneous costs, including jersey laundry. Thanks for your interest in the group!
