COMMUNITY OUTREACH ACTIVITY

It has been my yearly activity to conduct an Outreach Program before or after Christmas.
For this year, I chose Magalipit Elementary School, Montalban Rizal.
NGOs or any aiding group rarely reaches this school.

Target Date: Dec 8, 2024 (Feast of Immaculate Conception)
Target Recipients: 219 students

Features: Scenic views of the Sierra Madre, Limestones

MT. SIPIT ULANG
LLA: 210+ MASL
Specs: Minor, Difficulty 3/9 (Paniki Trail), Trail class 1-4 with limestone scrambling
Features: Limestone formations, scenic views of Wawa

ITINERARY
02:00 AM – Meetup at Greenfields or Cubao
02:30 AM – Depart to Montalban
04:00 AM – ETA Barangay Hall (jump-off) / Registration / Guide assignment
04:30 AM – Start trekking
06:30 AM – Summit, Espadang Bato
08:00 AM – Start trekking back to junction
09:30 AM – Summit, Sipit Ulang
11:00 AM – Back to Jump Off, Eat lunch
12:00 PM – ETD Payaran Falls (Optional)
12:30 PM – ETA Payaran Falls
12:40 PM – Swimming time
02:00 PM – ETD Cubao
03:00 PM – ETA Cubao

Things to bring:
Flashlight or Headlamp (required; night trekking involved)
2 – 3 Liter water (required)
Trail food (jelly ace, chocolates, etc.)
Packed lunch
Rain poncho (disposable)
Change of clothes and flipflops
Sun protection (hat, arm sleeves, umbrella)
Personal medications

Restrictions:
- We strictly require a down payment to secure a slot.
- Itinerary may be flexibly changed due to local conditions.
- The organizer has the right to cancel scheduled events if the safety of passengers is at risk, such as in extreme weather conditions.
