What we’re about

We meet at different trail heads and parks to Plike - Pick up Litter while we hIKE.

Pliking is a great way to improve the environment while enjoying the outdoors, as well as building strength, balance and flexibility. We also enjoy close relationships from working together while creating a more beautiful community.

As a club, we have adopted 29th St Trailhead, which we maintain not only by pliking, but also pruning, pulling noxious weeds and removing graffiti. We participate in a Litter Awareness Program, which includes booths at trail heads and special events, as well as surveys and presentations.

Since we began in September of 2018, club members have volunteered more than 3000 hours and picked up hundreds of large bags of trash, as well as many large items (March 2021).

We are part of Pliking Inc, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to litter education and cleanup through promoting the sport of Pliking. For information on their programs, visit www.pliking.org.
