If you like to walk in nature and sometimes look at birds and moss and stuff, this is the group for you! Hikes will resume again in March. You can continue to follow our other opportunities on Rancocas Nature Center Meetups.
Meet at Rancocas Nature Center Parking Lot or building. Join a Rancocas staff person for a 45 minute to 1 hour guided stroll observing the winter season in the Rancocas Nature Preserves meadows, streams/creek and woodlands on our easier trails (mostly flat ground, some roots).The program is free; FRNC membership or a donation is suggested. Join Rancocas staff or a knowledgeable volunteer for an interpretive hike through our varied habitats. It’s a great way to become familiar with our well-maintained trails. Bring a camera and/or binoculars; we’ll stop at scenic spots along the way. The easy pace is suitable for all ages; please use a child carrier to transport small children. Inclement weather cancels.
