Kathleen and I started this group out of a desire to meet and discuss books with other readers. We don’t think of it as our book club but more a democracy of like minded readers.
We request that all attendees be vaccinated.
Requests to join will only be accepted if you have a photo and are in our geographic area, as we meet in person.
If you like to read. You want to hang out once a month with people that read. We’ll be picking books from different genres, some will be classics, others new. If you’re reading taste isn’t eclectic, not to worry, come when it’s a book you’re interested in, and skip the others, or try a new genera.
This is a very welcoming group. People arrive between 6:30-7pm, so don’t fret the start time. Kathleen is always at the meeting spot early to flag everyone in.
Most of us typically order dinner but it’s not required at all!
You didn’t finish the book or didn’t even read the book.. no problem. Come anyway, you’ll meet nice people and get to discuss what book we’ll read the following month.
Everything is done in an open and democratic way. This book club belongs to us all and we all get a voice.
