RAIN CANCELS THIS EVENT!
This is Paul Taylor's (CDH) original write-up from 2017 with a few tweaks.
This trek will consist of 10 miles round trip on some trail, but mostly cross-country. It's a 3500' minimum overall gain and considered strenuous due to all the cross country trekking. Navigation is difficult, but have no fear, we'll have no worries of getting lost. Getting to the trailhead location will require several miles of dirt forest service road travel. So, we will need the high clearance vehicles to travel this section. It's a very easy dirt road to travel. We'll give it our best try at bagging all 4 HPS peaks. The terrain will determine our outcome, otherwise, what ever it takes to accomplish THE TASK (Time, Energy, Fear, Pain, Blood, Sweat, Tears etc.).
