We take to the Frontrunner to the grand opening of the Ogden Christmas Village

It starts with a Electric parade and ends with fireworks

Afterwards for those who want we will have a pub crawl down 25th Street in Ogden.
Come join us for the opening event: Saturday, November 25th

Christmas Village will transform our city center into a winter wonderland themed after Santa’s village at the North Pole and light up downtown Ogden beginning November 30 after the Holiday Electric Light Parade!

The festivities begin that day with the Santa Run 5k at 4:30 p.m., continue with the Holiday Electric Light Parade at 5:30 p.m. and end with a firework show in the Ogden Amphitheater at the Christmas Village Opening Ceremony that begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Village: This annual holiday display in Ogden features lights, cottages and more EVERY night from November 30, 2024through January 1, 2025. Sunday through Thursday the hours are 5pm to 10pm. Friday and Saturday the hours are 5pm to Midnight.

Located in Ogden’s downtown Municipal Gardens: 353 E 25th Street (the block of 25th and 26th Street on Washington Blvd.)

The theme this year is “You Could Even Say It Glows” and a ornament with this theme is hidden in each of the cottages for visitors to find as they explore the displays and vote for their favorite on the Ogden City website.

Children can visit Santa Claus in his castle for free at Christmas Village: Monday – Friday, 6 – 9 p.m. & Saturdays from 5–9 p.m., November 24 through December 22.

Mrs. Claus is also available for scheduled daytime Christmas Village tours with children.

Visitors can take a free holiday ride on the Mini Polar Express Train on the west end of Christmas Village Monday – Friday, 6– 9 p.m. & Saturdays from 5– 9 p.m.

Live entertainment is featured in the amphitheater at Christmas Village, Monday through Saturday, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. until December 22.

We will go to the new Christmas laser show at the planetarium then to see the windows at the Grand America and then for entertainment and the lights at Temple Square

Follow Chuck the Snowball and his Yeti friends through their magical forest home as they have fun and get festive just in time for the holiday season. Be sure to keep an eye out for Chuck in each window—he loves to surprise you when you least expect it
