We play American Mah Jongg socially throughout San Diego County. Check "Upcoming" or "Calendar" for scheduled events.
Beginner to Advanced players, familiar with tiles and National Mah Jongg League game rules. Attendees are asked to arrive on time, and update RSVP if they will not be attending to allow others to join. No instruction is given except at specified announced classes. Those classes will charge a fee.
** No member will be bothered by any organizer/ fellow member selling products or pushing any political agenda. Zero tolerance for rudeness, harassment and negative attitude towards organizers and fellow players.
Becoming a member of San Diego Ameican Mah Jongg group will also mean that you understand and agree with below disclaimer;

It’s a brown bag event - bring lunch to enjoy outside in the park around 12:30. If you would like to bring a dessert to share with others that would be sweet! To attend this event you must register with the City of San Diego and RSVP on meetup. This is a Partnership Event.

Learn Maj tips from Michele Frizzell’s presentation ‘Strategy by Wall’ at 11 am. After the presentation, enjoy lunch and the opportunity to play with Michele, assemble your ownn game, or form a game with other players.
Please note that players must bring their own Maj set and table mat to play.
