What we’re about
Second Half Rally is a group for experienced life veterans who like active recreation and sharing good times. We enjoy activities such as recreational hiking, kayaking, festivals, concerts, good eats & drinks, and exploring cool places. Our one simple goal is to have FUN!
We chose the name Second Half Rally because all of us share that life situation chronologically, even though we don’t feel like it. If you’re basically a kid who wants to go outside and play with friends, you should fit with our group.
"Put me in coach! I’m ready to play... TODAY!”
1. Our primary goal at every event is to HAVE FUN. Other groups tend to focus on biking, hiking, or kayaking led by serious aficionados. Too often, they never get around to having fun.
2. All members MUST post a clear personal photo showing their face so we can recognize each other at meetups to help build a comfortable sense of community.
3. Our group is friendly and welcoming, but we don’t tolerate whiners, jerks, dorks, or anyone else who spoils the fun for the rest of us. People who don't fit with the group are quickly removed from membership.
MEMBERSHIP IN SECOND HALF RALLY IS FREE! IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, JUST REMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...

MEET AT FEDERAL HOUSE BAR & GRILLE
We'll gather for refreshments at the Federal House Bar & Grille prior to seeing what's happening on Main Street, Maryland Avenue near State Circle, and the City Dock area. Happy hour at the Federal House runs from 4-6 pm. If the Federal House bar is closed for a private party, we'll meet in the downstairs bar at Middleton's Tavern one block away.
As a general rule, our SHR group gathers in the bar area where we can freely mingle and get separate checks with no hassles about group ordering. We also receive much better service by ordering and paying directly at the bar.
After hanging out at the Federal House for a while, people can wander around town to shop, people watch, and listen to the live music. There's no fixed group agenda for this event, so do whatever you like.
I hope to see you there!
