What we’re about
Welcome To The Inventors Society of South Florida
We are a 501 (C) 3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the Independent Inventor through the use of Education, Motivation and Collaborative Support.
We won't do the work for you but we will give you the tools to get the Job Done!
To that end, we hold monthly meetings where we bring in experts in the various fields you need to know to succeed in product development and it is called product development for a reason. You can have the most fantastic idea for a product but that is only the tip of the iceberg. Usually, a decent patent search will find a number of other people who already Own that idea or you may find others that can improve your idea. Also, not all great ideas have a market or might not have a way to get to the end users who want it. Never forget that a retailer has to take a product off the shelf that has been making them money to have a place to put your product.
We don't sugarcoat the truth. We don't give false hope. We want people to succeed and we know the way to do that but it is a lot of hard work. Definitely Not, a get rich quick scheme.
We meet on the second Saturday of every month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the James A. Rutherford Community Center at Patch Reef Park, 2000 West Yamato Road, which is ¼ mile west of Military Trail in Boca Raton FL 33431.
Door open at 12:30
You Must register to attend. There is a new link for each meeting on the flyer for the meeting that is posted on Meetup and on our website www.inventors-society.net
