The Ottawa Network The Ottawa Network is a not-for-profit member- driven organization that connects entrepreneurs, academics, industry professionals and government agencies to grow innovative businesses in the Ottawa region. We partner with local incubators, accelerators, government and local businesses to co-host, promote and create events that provide networking and educational opportunities for entrepreneurs in and around the Ottawa region. The Ottawa Network’s target market is a segment of around 10,000+ employees in the cross section of companies 0-9 years old and 1-99 employees. This cross section represents the employees of the smaller younger companies that are typically faster growing, in dynamic marketplaces, requiring constant corporate adaptation and requiring good inexpensive consultation. Membership is FREE, all we ask is that you join us in our mission to build a stronger entrepreneurial community in Ottawa by participating in our events and discussions.
We organize events that show off Ottawa startups and help them get the resources they need to grow big and fast.
Example events:
- TON of Demos: show off your product or service demo you've been working on (contact us to be put on the list), or just come on in to see what others have cooking.
- Bootstrap Awards: Annual event where we give awards to startups in a dozen different categories to give everyone's efforts and success a good solid nod here in Ottawa.
We also support excellent events located here in Ottawa, such as Wesley-Clover's Tech Tuesdays and others.
