A really warm welcome to Travel Buddies!
We are a small independent company that specializes in bespoke group travel as we feel experiences are better shared and there is so much to gain from travelling together.
We started up in 2013 and have 4 groups in the UK which meet for social events, the chance to meet other members, get involved and talk travel.
We plan trips all over the world, from weekends away in Europe to long haul trips in far off destinations, and have had amazing experiences worldwide whilst making great new friends and sharing unforgettable moments together.
If its adventure that you crave, culture, relaxation or doing something completely different there are trips to suit every type of traveller and every budget.

Join us on this incredible journey that starts in the Capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, and sees us making our way across to the untouched jungles and Rainforests of Eastern Borneo's states of Sabah and Sarawak culminating at a beachfront paradise oasis. Wildlife is your passion, this is one of the best places in the world to explore and enjoy.
- Stay at the stunning 5* Arte by Thomas Chan Hotel in Kuala Lumpur
- Explore the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and Sun Bear Sanctuary
- Head into the wild with a 3 night 4 day tour of Turtle island and stay in a lodge on the Kinabatangan River

We have decided to offer 2 versions of this tour. The full one is as per itinerary.
For those members that have perhaps visited Kuala Lumpur before or who simply would prefer to join the group for the Borneo aspect of the tour that is absolutely fine.
Please ensure that your international flight arrives into Kota Kinabalu on the 14th May so you can join the group at the hotel. If you prefer to do this the prices are as follows:
Tour not including Kuala Lumpur Element sharing a twin room for 7 of the nights out of 10 and a room to yourself for 3 nights £1499. Supplement for a room of your own for the duration £275.

British nationals do not need a visa to visit Malaysia. You will normally be allowed to stay for 90 days on arrival. If you are travelling on a passport from a different country please get in touch and we can advise.

Join Travel Buddies as we head off to explore Vietnam on this 14 night adventure encompassing Ho Chi Minh City, The Mekong Delta, Hue, Hoi An, Hanoi and an overnight cruise in a Vietnamese junk boat in Ha Long Bay. It is best to pack light for this trip as it is a road trip and you will be staying in 5 different accommodations across the 12 nights.You are responsible for the transportation of your own luggage for the duration. In some instances this may mean getting it on/ off a bus or train or up a flight of stairs. Please do not assume that a fellow Travel Buddy will always be there to assist you. In the instance that a porter/guide is available, and you use their services you are responsible for payment/tipping.
