After 10 years wonderful years, and hundreds of Meetup events that I've had the privilige of hosting, and through which I've many great friends. I've taken the decision to move the group off the Meetup platform. There are several reasons behind this decision and it's one that I haven't taken lightly.
In practical terms what this means is that from the end of March 2025, I'm standing down as the organiser of the group on Meetup when my organiser subscription to Meetup expires. From this point, no new events will be published on Meetup and any new requests to join the group will not be approved.
However, the good news is that the group will continue on Facebook. If you have recently joined the group here on Meetup or would like to join the group on Facebook then all you need to do is click on the link below which will take you to the Wilmslow Meets Manchester Facebook Group where you can request to join and I or one of my admins will review and approve.
