CHRISTMAS PARTY
We are very excited to present a AAA party. In addition to great hiking and wonderful food, we will have a special Christmas party on Saturday Night. Choose from 1000's of character types for your fancy dress!
As always, fancy dress is mandatory (and not your hiking gear 😉).
You can choose a costume that identifies a character from a film
It can be something modern and clearly associated with a film. We leave it up to your imagination and creativity 😉. Prizes for the best outfits will be awarded as we dance the night away to cool international tunes!
This trip is a great chance to catch up with the hiking friends you have met during this and previous years.
WHAT TO EXPECT
AAA has hosted Hiking Weekend events for over a decade. Our wealth of experience will ensure you enjoy some great hikes and food.

HIKE GRADES
You will have a choice of hikes, ranging from Moderate to Energetic Hikes, all led by very capable hike leaders. AAA hike leaders have extensive navigational and Hike-leading experience and are trained in wilderness first aid.
You can expect the shorter hikes to be around 15km and the longer hikes to be 25+ km. We will take the weather into account and offer routes on a day.
ITINERARY
The event starts at the hostel at 18:00 and finishes after the half-day hike on Sunday around 2 p.m.

ACCOMMODATION
AAA has exclusive use of Okehampton YHA; this old railway goods shed (in the past) set on the edge of Dartmoor has been converted to a modern hostel, which forms a great centre for exploring the wilds of Dartmoor. Wi-Fi is available on this property and all bed linen is provided, most rooms are en-suite.
Accommodation is in male and female rooms for 4 & 6 people.

Meals are provided as per the inclusions below. Most dietary requirements can be catered for if advised in advance. Read More

Driving is the best option to reach the Hostel. Please check out this Event Message Board to share a lift & offer one.

The price includes:

• 2 nights accommodation
