Welcome to our Abbotsford Reiki & Metaphysical Meetup Group! We are a community of individuals who are passionate about exploring the realms of body-mind-spirit and living a successful life. Our group focuses on understanding ourselves, self empowerment, and positive personal growth through various modalities such as Reiki, Akashic Records, Heartmath, NLP, Meditation & Mindfulness, Emotion Code, Timeline Therapy, Spiritual and Psychic Development. This is a powerful evening with lots of healing! If you are new to Reiki and are thinking about taking a class this is a great opportunity to experience Reiki and meet the Reiki Master/Teacher.

## What is a Reiki Share?

A Reiki share is an opportunity for practitioners, students and first timers to get together and exchange Reiki, ask questions, share information and have great discussions. Students can bring their CEU credit forms for those of you working towards becoming a registered reiki practitioner with the Canadian Reiki Association. Each share equates to 2 hours of practice time and you can earn up to twelve hours of CEU practice during Reiki shares.

## So what happens at a Reiki Share?

Each share is started with introductions, sharing of information like upcoming events that may be interesting to the group, questions asked and discussed and a brief Reiki review. Following this we will have a group meditation, a mini-attunement that will allow the 'newbies' to feel the Reiki energy flow for the evening, a distant healing to a person or situation, and individual healing sessions. For the healing sessions we work together in groups, one receiving the rest as practitioners. Each person will receive a treatment of approximately 10 - 15 minutes which will feel like much more because of all the practitioners working together!!

## Usui Reiki - a Japanese Healing Modality for Everyone!

Reiki is the healing modality of spiritually guided life force energy. It is the art of channeling Divine energy into the body for the purpose of healing. It is not the practitioner but rather spirit that is doing the healing. It is non-denominational and may be used by anyone of any age. Rei means spiritual wisdom and Ki means Life Force Energy. A Reiki Session promotes mental, physical and spiritual relaxation, it balances and enhances body energy, encourages the body to heal, encourages the body to release disease on all levels, and has a positive effect on the endocrine and immune system.

An education in Reiki gives the practitioner a life changing tool. It can be used to center and calm a child, bring peace to a loved one, cleanse the energy of your food, bless a vacation, enhance a nights sleep and so much more. It is a life tool with endless applications for use. The more it is used the more your life is enriched. I am always happy to give a Reiki Healing Session as it is a most wonderful experience, but I must say that my true joy is in sharing the knowledge of Reiki.

I am available for support and encouragement to all my students with regular monthly Reiki Shares for practice, I am Canadian Reiki Association member, CRA Certification for each level and Continuing Education Unit Credits.

## Usui Reiki Level I

In Level I you are attuned to the Reiki energy and begin to feel it flow through you. Focusing on self-healing and helping others you will learn how to give self treatments and how to treat friends and family. You will learn the history, the principals and the pillars that make Usui Reiki so different from other healing modalities. You will learn about your energy field, Reiki meditations, the Reiki Ethics, the five principles or precepts, the three pillars of Reiki, the hand positions, how to do a self-healing, how to provide a session for others and some life style uses of Reiki.

You will learn:

about your personal energy field, how to manage it, strengthen it and protect it.

how to safely exercise your free will with your natural spiritual abilities.

how to develop your intuition and psychic abilities

to calm the ‘noise’ inside your head

spiritual protection

to identify where your boundaries are and how to strengthen them without negative effects

to connect to your environment and your everyday life with peace, strength and empowerment

how to strengthen your energy and heal yourself through Divine Spirit

how to powerfully connect with the Divine Creator

how to heal friends & family without draining yourself

Class are a full day from 930 am to 6pm, lots of hands-on practise, small classes, professional setting, fully CRA Certified and continued support. Level II opens up your awareness and understanding of the Reiki Energy. This is where it becomes super fun, rewarding, energizing and a tool kit for life. You will learn the Sacred Symbols for healing, explore different uses of Reiki and learn a few new 'tools' to manage your life force energy.
Your Attunement to level II is a commitment to the Reiki energy and with this commitment comes an embracing of the Reiki way into your life path. You will learn how to use Reiki to clear unwanted habits, empower goals, manifest changes and how to send distant Reiki. At this level you are able to begin professionally practicing Reiki, you may add it to services you already do for enhancement of the healing or you may use Reiki as its own healing service.

I have been a chocolate lover my whole life so when I was invited to a Cacao Ceremony I was all in - and I loved it!! This ceremony honors the Sacred Cacao plant, Mother Gaia and the Wild Woman who embodies us all.

Let us gather in a sharing circle and allow the Spirit Medicine of the Cacao plant to take us on a Shamanic Journey within ourselves. Let the energy of the Divine Feminine connect with the unapologetic, unbridled part of us that is pure wild in all our natural glory. Release the bindings placed upon us by society, the bindings that tell us we are not enough. A cacao ceremony is a type of shamanic healing originated from Central and South America that is practiced all over the world. The ceremony is a gathering of people in sacred space honoring the ancestry of the spirit plant medicine of the cacao fruit, opening the heart and allowing the cacao to be guided by mother earth and divine spirit to re-balance the energies within us and heal in highest good. Raw pure cacao opens the heart enabling us to connect with our true self, work through blockages and past traumas, dissolve negative energy and help us align with our true selves.

You will find yourself exploring the pain that is plaguing you right now, and feel your way through it; because it’s only when we allow ourselves to truly feel it, that we can let it go. This will help you to live a happier, lighter life, where you don’t feel weighed down by your past. Releasing this pain makes space for more love and light to come in. Cacao helps you connect to your inner power, strength, and truth; touching the depth of our soul. Embracing such profoundness in your soul is a guide to create a finer healing ability and remembrance.

The ceremony will include prayer to honor earth and spirit, setting of intentions, discussion, sharing of Cacao drink, tribal music, guided meditation and blessing. Wear comfortable clothing, hydrate and eat lightly a few hours before ceremony, and bring yoga mats & pillows if you wish to lie down for meditation (recommended). Duration 2 hours.
