On Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM, we'll gather in friendly groups and enjoy conversation with each other.

Unlike an ESL class, here we practice speaking English with each other.

We discuss lively topics, socialize, laugh, and learn in an easy, effortless way. The atmosphere is relaxed.

Sessions are hosted by Tom, a NYC-based English teacher with nearly ten years of ESL teaching experience.

This group is designed primarily for intermediate-to-advanced English learners as a way to improve conversation skills.

Please be punctual. Adults only, please. Friends are welcome. This event lasts approximately 90 minutes.

ABOUT THE HOST

Tom is a native New Yorker: He grew up in Brooklyn. He has lived and traveled in Europe and Asia, and understands what it is like to learn a new language.

Tom earned a degree in English from Pace University. For more than 20 years, he has worked as a writer and editor for national magazines and websites.

Tom taught English speaking, writing, and pronunciation at NYC's well-respected International Center for over six years. He now owns a company that provides personalized ESL classes for adult professionals and college students.
