East Bay Open Studios at Ace Makerspace
Join us at Ace Makerspace for the East Bay Open Studios on Saturday, December 7th, and Sunday, December 8th! This bi-annual event brings together visual artists from 15 cities across Alameda and Contra Costa counties, inviting you to explore and celebrate the vibrant arts community of the East Bay.We’ll be offering tours of our spaces at 1pm and 3pm each day, plus on-demand tours throughout the event. Take a behind-the-scenes look at our textiles/coworking studio, laser lab, metal shop, woodshop, CNC router, and clean fab studio with 3D printers and tools for electronics. And our amazing artist community will be presenting live demos to share their creative processes and skills.

This hosted event is largely self-directed, and while mentorship is available based on your existing skill set or current project, no one-on-one beginner lessons will be available. We also have a wonderful swift and ball winder available for making pull-skeins.
