Tuesday Walking Group (Activate Mental Health)

Details

We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at the end of Taylor street car park between Taylor Reserve and Mcallum Park from 5:30.

We generally walk for about an hour, or shorter if people prefer but occasionally we can run over to around 6:30/7 pm.

We will wait around for up 10 mins if you've let us know that you're running late but we do start the walk no later than 5:40pm

Come as frequently or as infrequently as you like, both nights or either one.

A very relaxed, Inclusive, social and supportive group, always sticking together, not leaving anyone behind

There is an optional running group on Thursdays also, in addition to this walking group.

No set pace or distance, whatever you're comfortable with.

If you are hesitant because you think you might not be "fit enough" or might not be able to "keep up", there is no "fit enough" or any need to "keep up", you are who the group is aimed at supporting.
With the added safety of walking running with a group later in the day.
