Welcome to our Active & Over 40 Meetup group! We are a fun-loving group of individuals who enjoy staying active, trying new things, and building new friendships. Whether it's hiking, biking, camping, or exploring arts and entertainment, we have a variety of activities for you to join. We also offer day trips, cultural experiences, and opportunities for social networking. Come and join us as we travel, dine, and harmonize together in our vibrant and diverse community. Let's live life to the fullest and make lasting memories with The Over 40 Gang!
It is the policy of Active & Over 40 ensure a warm and welcoming environment to all. We strive and continue to create and environment for everyone in the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, national origin, genetic information, socioeconomic status and social class or any other characteristic protected by law.

York Beltline Trail: The York Beltline Trail is the first of three sections of the Beltline Trail, which stretches 9 km from Eglinton and Caledonia, to the Moore Park Ravine at Bayview Avenue. The trail is based on the path of an old railway that used to circle the city. Originally founded in 1892, the Belt Line Railway was constructed as a commuter railway to help service the new neighbourhoods that were sprouting just north of the city limits at that time.
Meetup Location: South West Corner of Eglinton and Caledonia (Close to the Shoppers Drug Mart ) Wearing my Moose Hat!
Meetup Time: 11am I will only wait 5mins...Early is On Time, On Time is late.
End Spot: Close to Yonge and Daviesville - We will not be going back to our Meetup spot.

- Walk: Cedarvale Ravine and Nordheimer Ravinev with Ice Cream! 9KMRosedale Station, Toronto, ONCA$5.00
Cedarvale Ravine and Nordheimer Ravine: These two Ravine are in two of the richest areas of the Toronto. These are two smaller ravines that show the quieter parts of the Toronto and are home to the oldest network of ravines in Toronto as during the turn of the century this is where many of the wealthy would of walked on hot days in Toronto and even do some hunting. We will be going to Dutch Creams for some ice cream.
Meetup Location: I will be waiting outside the station and wearing my MOOSE HAT!

Eglinton West Trial and Mimico Creek: Join us for an afternoon walk along Eglinton West and through Mimico Creek. You never know what friendships you can make.
Meetup Detail:
We will start by taking the 73 Bus to Eglinton West. We will fellow the city trail till we get to Mimico Creek. We will take a little break in a park and continue our walk back to the Royal York Subway Station.
Meetup Location: I will be waiting inside the subway station by the stairs on the bus platform and I will be wearing Moose Hat. We will only wait till the bus leaves (10:57am).

- FALL WALK - Tommy Thompson Park - Come see the Skyline - 12KMTommy Thomson Park, Toronto, ONCA$5.00
Tommy Thompson Park: Let's start Fall off by going to Tommy Thompson Park which is a great place to experience nature and the outdoors. It is widely considered one of the best places for bird-watching in the city, with more than 300 recorded species. It’s also a prime destination for wildlife viewing and fishing. In addition to its unique natural features, the park offers picturesque views of the Toronto skyline and Lake Ontario as the sun is setting!
Meetup Details
Meetup Location: I will beside the parking by the pavilion/bathrooms and I will be wearing my Moose Hat
Meetup time: 11:00am.....I will only wait 5mins
PLEASE NOTE: This is a long walk it will take about 3hrs plus a break. If you are not able to walk at a good speeded or for a long time this walk is not for you. Also there are NO DOGS allowed in the park (not my rules)

What we will do: We start our walk and we will take some of the off roading paths, we will head to the light house, have a little break and walk back along some of the paths again.
