Arts and Culture: Nuit Blanche!

Nuit Blanche: Join us for a night of art by the water front. This is a free all-night celebration of contemporary art that transforms Toronto’s public spaces into extraordinary landscapes and animates cultural sites throughout the city.

This year’s theme, Bridging Distance, invites audiences to explore ways in which they experience and perceive distance through three exhibitions and more than 80 works by local, national and international artists (including Independent & Special Projects). The program also includes a series of talks, tours and workshops that bring the public closer to the creative process than ever before.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a crazy event with a LOT of people. I will try my best to make sure everyone finds someone to spend the evening with me. No matter what group you go with, you will most likely lose the group. However, unlike other groups on Meetup, I will do everything I do will try to make sure we stay together. Even the Meetup spot has been created in away to find the group.

Meetup Details

Meetup Location: Meet Mathew outside of the Loblaws and he will be wearing his Moose Hat and light up stick!

Meetup Time: 7:00pm.....I will only wait 5mins

Meetup Time Ends: 11pm. This is a 12 hour event and those that would like to continue with the event can. I don't know where we will end...most likely City Hall.

Meetup Fee: $5 cash in person or E-transfer - This fee helps to support the group! Some Organizers choose to absorb all costs and others choose not to. You can send the E-transfer to mathewmaclean@hotmail.com

Cancel Policy: Members that change their RSVP within the 24hrs start of the event to "NO GOING" with be asked to pay a canceling fee of $10 that you can send by E-transfer to [email protected] - You will no be able to join any other events before this is paid. Changing your RSVP within the 24hrs of the event does have a negative impact on the event.If the event starts at 11am and change your RSVP at 10:59am the day before you are fine. If you change it at 11:01am the day before and after that, you will be asked to pay the $10 canceling fee.
