Ocean Pavilion, Seattle Aquarium + waterfront
Details
Why don't those of us who haven't seen the Seattle Aquarium's new exhibit in the Ocean Pavilion https://www.seattleaquarium.org/explore-the-aquarium/campus/ocean-pavilion/ and the new waterfront improvements in the area give it a try on this afternoon when it's predicted to be dry! Sorry about the shorter notice, but the most accurate weather forecasts only go out about three or four days.
Bring along your Gold Card (obtainable from community centers and libraries in Seattle if you don't already have one) and we can enter free by visiting the entry desk in the older section of the Aquarium. Let's meet near there before walking over to the new building. Otherwise here's the site and info about entry. https://www.seattleaquarium.org/visit/hours-discounts-groups/
After we see the exhibits and wander a bit we can always catch something to drink and eat in the Aquarium's own cafe' or somewhere close. As usual, I recommend public transportation like light rail or bus to arrive. It's both simpler and less expensive overall.
A minimum of two others joining in makes this a group event. Otherwise I'll attempt it at some other time. I'm trying this now because it's post opening crowds and prior to major holidays.
