Hallett Cove Headland and Conservation Park
Details
This walk will take about 3 hours. We start by heading south along the coastal walkway to Hallett Headland Reserve and then continue to join a sealed trail around the Lonsdale Desalination Plant……...yes, we have one in SA! After a short break we head back along a slightly different route and take a short detour around the lower section of the Field River before heading to the Hallett Cove Conservation Park where we will traverse the cliff tops of The Amphitheatre and walk the Sugar Loaf.
This walk will include picturesque coastal views and geologically significant sites.
AFTERWARDS: Food and drink can be purchased from the Boatshed outdoor café.
PARKING/ TRANSPORT: There is plenty of parking on Heron Way.
For anyone who wants to go by public transport I can meet you on the Seaford train that departs Adelaide Train Station at 7:35 am. I will get on at Hove and be able to steer us down to the Boat shed Café from the Hallett Cove Beach Train Station. Please leave a message in the comments if you would like to do that.
