Details
GEOCACHING is an outdoor treasure hunting game that is a lot of fun. People hide containers, known as geocaches & mark their location on a digital map with a clue. We then try to find them. There are approximately 14,000 geocaches hidden all over South Australia!
DIFFICULTY: EASY. Must be capable of walking for approx 2 hours. It doesn't matter if you are new to geocaching, we will use the map on my phone & stay together as a group & you will learn as we go.
THE PLAN: The plan is that we will spend approx 1.5 - 2 hours walking around trying to find as many geocaches as we can.
BRING: water, some gardening gloves may be useful
WEAR: hat, sunscreen, sensible walking shoes
SAFETY: Watch out for traffic. Be careful crossing roads.
Beware of snakes/spiders - look before putting your hand under a rock/log!
WHO CAN ATTEND:
* No dogs, No children, No guests, No Speed Demons.
We will stick together as one group & walk together at a leisurely social pace.
Maximum Group Size is 10. This event is limited to a small number of people so that we can stay together as a group & everyone can have a go.
Please aim to get there 10 minutes early as we will be leaving at 6pm sharp.
