Paint Creek Trail Bike Ride

Event rating: moderate (because of the pace and distance covered)

We will bike a medium paced 19 miles (round trip) from Rochester to Lake Orion and back on the flat crushed limestone/dirt path (so mountain or other fat tire bike is recommended). This rail trail passes through the residential wooded area following Paint Creek. There is a slight uphill incline towards Lake Orion. Estimated bike time: 3 hours (including stops).

However, if you like to ride shorter distance and at a slower pace you are still welcome to join us there and ride part of the trail (since this is out-n-back trail).

If there is an interest, we will go to Rochester Mills to socialize, get something to eat and drink afterwards.

Helmet is required !!!

You should bring a spare tire and basic bike maintenance tools (just in case…)

Additionally, if somebody wants to ride a longer distance, I will be starting from the intersection of 25 Mi Rd and Shelby Rd around 12:15. If are are interested in this longer ride, PM me.
