Join us for a delightful 2-day, 1-night winter escape in the enchanting Cotswolds!

Shake off those January blues as we embark on a magical hiking adventure in this stunning location. Immerse yourself in the centuries of history that the Cotswolds has to offer.

Arrive Saturday Morning and leave Sunday late afternoon.
Start your year with a refreshing escape into the heart of the Cotswolds, designed exclusively for women seeking a gentle challenge and the chance to connect with like-minded adventurers. This two-day journey offers the perfect balance of exploration, camaraderie, and adventure.

Saturday:
Winchcombe, Cleeve Common, and Belas Knap
Distance: 14.5 km
Walking time: 5-5.5hrs
Ascent: 340 meters
Grade: Easy / Medium

We will meet at the start of our first hike, Our adventure begins in the charming town of Winchcombe, where we'll embark on a picturesque hike through the rolling Cotswold hills.

This guided walk will lead us across the expansive Cleeve Common, the highest point in Gloucestershire, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
As we approach the ancient Neolithic long barrow of Belas Knap, you'll have the opportunity to feel part of the history and legends of this mystical site.

This 14.5 km walk, with its gentle inclines, is the perfect way to ease into the weekend, allowing you to reconnect with nature and yourself. After our hike, we'll head into the heart of Cirencester where we will check in to our accommodation and then out to enjoy a well-deserved meal at a local restaurant or pub. This is the perfect opportunity to relax, savour delicious food, and continue building connections with your fellow hikers.

Sunday:
The Villages of Bibury, Arlington, Ablington, and Winson
Distance: 16 km
Walking time: 5.5-6hrs
Ascent: 214 meters
Grade: Easy / Medium

Our second day takes us deeper into the heart of the Cotswolds, as we explore some of England's most picturesque villages. Starting in Bibury, often described as the most beautiful village in England, we’ll wander through the timeless charm of Arlington Row's ancient cottages. Our path leads us through the tranquil hamlets of Ablington and Winson, where you’ll discover hidden gems like quaint bridges over crystal-clear streams and idyllic countryside vistas.

Accommodation:
After our day’s adventure, we’ll head to a welcoming and modern hostel located in the heart of Cirencester. Our rooms are shared rooms (4 to a room) with comfortable bunkbeds, communal kitchen and shared bathrooms.
This weekend is more than just a hike; it’s a chance to recharge after the busy holiday season, rekindle your love for the outdoors, and connect with a supportive group of women.

Total Cost:
- £145 per person
- £55 deposit (non-refundable) (Plus meetups booking fee OR pay by CARD)
- Balance due 1 month before the trip

Additional Information:
- Meals: Our Evening meal will be booked at local pubs and restaurants, or you are welcome to cook in the accommodation's kitchen.

Exclusions:
- Food and drink are not included. Please bring food for breakfast and lunches.
- Transportation is not included, you will need your own transportation to and from the activities.

Preparation and Level:
The hikes are moderate in difficulty, featuring some steep gradients. Be physically capable of hiking for up to 7 hours.

Safety and Guidelines: Walks are led by certified walking leaders who are L3 outdoor first aiders.

Walk Grades:
Easy (suitable for beginners),
Medium (challenging but manageable),
Hard (requires fitness and hill walking experience),
Challenging (tough terrain, not for beginners).
