This is a great walk with plenty to see. We start at Rickmansworth Aquadrome car park, before heading into the woodlands of the colne valley. We will circumvent Ruislip Lido (water is currently closed) where we will walk on the “beach” before heading into Ruislip Wood nature reserve. We head out into open country side briefly before our next wood, Mad Bess Wood (great name!) and then Bayhurst wood countryside park. The next part of the walk is more open, fields, rural areas with the last section of this walk alongside the grand union canal.
